About Device Check

Device Check is a lightweight set of browser-based hardware tests designed to answer a simple question: is your browser actually receiving input from the device you are trying to use?

The service reports observable browser data and avoids claiming physical hardware faults that a web page cannot prove.

The tests are designed to work without an account. Core microphone, camera, audio, touch, screen, keyboard, mouse, reaction-time and gamepad test data is processed in the browser rather than uploaded to an application server.
